A major donation of electrical cables is advancing Lacor Hospital's project to modernize its electrical network funded by the Teasdale-Corti Foundation.

The Teasdale-Corti Foundation is pleased to announce that its sister organisation, Fondazione Piero e Lucille Corti ETS in Milan, Italy, has entered into a partnership agreement with the Prysmian Group which has already donated 2,000 m of electrical cables to upgrade the electrical distribution network at St. Mary's Lacor Hospital in Uganda.

The Prysmian Group is an international manufacturer of electrical cables based in Milan.

In 2025, the Teasdale-Corti Foundation awarded $300,000 to Lacor Hospital to modernize its electrical network and make it more reliable. The donation from the Prysmian Group makes it possible to accelerate the modernization. The project is still in progress. Additional donations of electrical engineering expertise were also received from other sources through Fondazione Corti.

The Foundation wishes to thank the Marcelle and Jean Coutu Foundation for its generous donation that made it possible to finance the hospital's electrical network modernization project. It also thanks the Prysmian Group for its deed of solidarity.
