To give the best possible health care, to the greatest number possible, at the lowest possible cost.
Health and medical care are fundamental human rights and indispensable values for the development and self-determination of peoples.
That is why we support, financially and through the supply of goods and expertise, St. Mary's Lacor Hospital in Uganda, one of the largest nonprofit hospitals in equatorial Africa, a concrete hope of healing for millions of people.

The end of Ebola in Uganda
August 31 2026
On August 26, 2026, the World Health Organisation declared the Ebola outbreak in Uganda to be over (see the image).
At Lacor Hospital, everyone is extremely relieved, but the level of vigilance remains high, as indeed it does throughout the rest of the country, particularly along the western border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), where the situation remains very serious. Some of the worst-affected areas are a five-hour drive from the hospital.
