In-kind gifts
The following conditions apply to in-kind gifts:

no obsolete equipment or material will be accepted

medicine are generally not accepted

unless advised otherwise, delivery costs must be borne by the donor
Volunteering
The following conditions generally apply to volunteering. These costs must be borne by the volunteer:

The duration of stay must be at least of three months.

The Ugandan visa must be paid by the volunteer. It must be procured prior to landing in the country.

Work permits and professional association memberships must be paid by the volunteer. This applies to all health professionals who will pratice at the hospital (doctors, nurses and mid-wives).

Air transportation to Kampala is paid by the volunteer.
The following expenses will be covered by the Teasdale-Corti Foundation:

Ground transportation in Uganda, except for personal leisure and tourism.

Accommodations and meals at the hospital.

Laundry while staying on the hospital campus.
It must be noted that the hospital residence cafereria cannot accommodate any special diet, regardless of its type.
Gifts of services
All personnel that must travel to the hospital to deliver donated services at the hospital is subject to the same conditions and restrictions as volunteers (see above).
